Phone consultation Services: Cocoon House helps parents through a free 90-minute phone consultation with a Masters level therapist. Such calls help parents find support and develop an action plan to address the difficult issues they and their teens face.

 

Project SAFE

Parenting Classes: Project WayOut offers parenting classes throughout the county. These classes guide parents of teens through the turbelent world of adolescence. Class topics focus on issues parents face regarding teen development.

Support Groups: Project SAFE provides a free, confidential support group that meets every Tuesday at Coccon House from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. facilitiated by a Master's level therapist. Parents may drop in any Tuesday evening to find support for the daily challenges of raising a teen.

Providing Support to parents and teens together: A two-day or three-evening interactive seminar designed to strengthen communication. Community professionals present educational topics such as asset building, decision-making, parenting techniques and adolescent development.
