Street Outreach

This  program conducts aggressive outreach to youth in all areas of the County in order to:

  1. Provide critical survival supplies (food, socks, undersear, gloves, hats, etc.)
  2. Refer teens fo rneeded professional assistance (counseling, medical assistance, etc.)
  3. Link them to shelter and other services

These same services are available at Cocoon's teen resource drop-in center U-Turn.  Outreach is a trust building tool that sets the stage for staff to engage with a teen in a case management mode when she or he decides to take action and leave the streets.

If you are a state-dependent youth, please call (425) 259-5802.

If you do not live in Snohomish County, you can call the National Runaway Switchboard at (800) 621-4000 to see if there are shelters in your area.

If you are a youth age 13-21 and need another form of assistance, please contact the Cocoon Advocate Program and an Advocate will assist you:
