VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT
Kim, Cocoon House Volunteer
Over the years, Kim has been a dedicated volunteer at Cocoon House, sharing her time and heart through one of the most meaningful acts of care — providing home-cooked meals for youth at our U-Turn drop-in center. Her kindness and consistency have made her a familiar and trusted face, creating a sense of comfort and community for the young people she serves.
“It’s so rewarding to know that even a small act of care can make a difference. Seeing the resilience and strength of these young people inspires me every day.”

Corporate groups of 5-7 volunteers to help prep, cook, and clean up delicious meals that are served to youth in our programs. This is a hands-on, engaging opportunity perfect for small groups or teams who enjoy working together and believe in the power of food as a form of care.
Meal prep sessions take place one-two times per quarter at our Everett Hub location. Groups are scheduled in advanced to coordinate with the schedule of the lead volunteer.
